What We Do:

GSSAC's P.O.W.E.R.

Prevention*Education*Wellness*Education*Resources*Coalition

COALITION—a pact among individuals or groups, in which they work in collaborative action, joining forces together for a common cause.

The Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council (GSSAC) recognizes the importance of a community-wide effort to reduce substance abuse and violence.  Therefore, we are proud and honored to have a coalition of community agencies, policy makers, and citizens who work together to create a positive community environment that supports healthy choices for youth.

This group meets regularly to share resources and create strategies to enhance all prevention efforts throughout the greater Spokane area.

These efforts continue to bring positive changes that support healthy youth and, in turn adults, while strengthening our entire community.
